Grav (Early Access Game)

Hey people,

I've seen steam have an offer on "Grav" a new early access game but can't find any reviews here. Has anyone grabbed it and what is it like? It sounds like a better Planetside and looks great.

The base building, pvp and scifi setting is what im looknig for however have been stung by the early access games before i.e. dayz.

Bought this on a whim the other day, it's a lovely looking game but very, very early access, seems to run fine for 10-20mins and then it bugs out completely (Can't interact with anything) and needs a restart, I've already seen some players with huge bases protected with force-fields and vehicles etc. and I'm yet to find a single blueprint to be able to build a damned Harvester...

If they can get it running well for more than a few minutes at a time it looks like a nice little time-waster, being unable at the moment to bind keys and adjust mouse sensitivity is a real killer for me too (Hopefully that will be added in..!?) Sure looks promising to me though!

Still have my finger hovering over the buy button while it's on sale for the cheaper price.

Watching some guy play it on twitch for a few hrs on sunday. While it looked a lot of fun to me, I was struggling to figure out to and what for. Loads of stuff to build and upgrade, but for what purpose, I realy had no idea.

Only downer were the long load times, but id imagine just the bane of it being early in development,

Oddly enough I was watching a stream of it being played earlier this week, seemed massively advanced from back at the beginning.

Played it for a couple of hours this afternoon, enjoyed it, well worth a fiver.

Yeh I got this as well. One thing that's really getting my goat up is no option to restart your single player game.... not good at all. Apart from that, yeh its pretty good for an early access game. Looking forward to updates.... and the option to restart your SP game.

Early access game = crap that will never be finished and hyped by flipping streamers if anything.

Been playing this for the last few days (solo) after picking it up cheap in the steam sale. It's a damn sight better than Planet Explorers so far, really doesn't feel early access. Anyone else playing? Graphically it's amazing, fantastic environments and draw distance.

Starting single player again

Did you ever figure this out.. Doing my head in aswell as I want to start afresh..

While I really like the game as it is so far, i'm not convinced they're really working on it still. Updates are very sparse now, and it's still missing some basic functionality.

Pity, the game worlds are gorgeous.
