Gravy

I've just come home from shopping and forgot to buy gravy for a Tesco chicken and gravy pie, the gravy being on the inside of the pie of course. I've only got beef flavoured gravy granules. As I can't be bothered to go out again to buy chicken gravy, do you think the beef granules would work or taste far too wrong?

I only have a cardboard box of Tesco worst beef in the cupboard. Which according to the ingredients appears to have no beef, just flavourings.

Well I decided to have a stirfry instead as it would have been a ridiculously late dinner. I'll go buy some chicken gravy granules tomorrow.
