GRAW 2 PC delayed / rant

Was really looking forward to playing this game over Easter was scheduled for release Friday and now it has been delayed to June 30 :mad:

I am genuinely gutted and feel really stupid for looking forward to it so much :( It looked like a VEGAS and GRAW love child :)

Might give STALKER a go now :rolleyes: when I do play I like to play something that is stable and relatively bug free :eek: but even that is too much to ask of a lot of game these days.

I do not even play MMORPG's but have been tempted into playing Vangard (buggy, runs poorly, totally unstable) recently due to lack of FPS! R6 VEGAS (buggy, runs poorly) kept me entertained for a couple of weeks and I found armed assault a tad boring but thats about it on the FPS front.

If I never owned a performance PC I think I would get an XBOX360 tomorrow.

Are things actually better on the console side? Are games stable? Do they run consistently smooth? Is there random jerkiness? Is XBOX live really as good as I have heard it is?

thankgod I am not the only one getting depressed at gaming on PC's atm :)

I mean I don't like playing RPG/RTS I like FPS because I like to just pick up and play.

I have too much to do without having to re-install, put everything at stock just to ensure a game works then only to find it was the game all along!

It is true though if games were released unfinished, buggy, poorly coded onto consoles like they are onto PC there would be hell to play!.... people would literally take em back to the shops and demand their money back! Kids would take em back, parents would take em back and chav's would hold em up at knife point :D!

I may get a XBOX360 hook it up to my TFT, get GRAW2 and see what happens.

The cost of XBOX360 is about the cost of a single main PC component, so all in all it does seem a bargain at £200 and I could easily sell it after woods if the grass is not much greener on the other side:)

Um and I care. Games recently on PC are a joke and I was wondering if the console side was any better now the XBOX360 is settled!

You started a thread asking whether your PC spec was okay and then ask whether you should stick with XP or get VISTA :rolleyes: Like that question has not been asked a thousand times... its like me going onto your thread and asking you to change the title to 'xp or vista bore snore'!

I posted a thread last night because I was disapointed that GRAW2 was not released... then at the end I had a lil rant on my own thread :eek: which was in the the title too.

Well from what every1 has said I don't care anymore either. It probably would have been a rubbish port as ubi are now famous for that!

I think I will try and get a 360 and play it nicely optimised and stable ;) stress free :D
 
graphics on his HDTV are rubbish compared to GRAW on my PC 16AA and 16AF, theres just no comparison

right then would you like to inform me how you got real AA (not that lame in game smudge) working on GRAW :confused:
