Need help with a Bug in the game. Got to the 2nd last level on hard, the end of the level you have to kill the snipers etc to protect the general. Theree are two tanks in the plaza that kill my tanks.

Basically i'm on my own my team mates are dead, I kill everything visible apart from the tanks. There is nothing left on the map and you kill the tanks in the next part of the mission. Unfortunately on my own I cannot get the last man to show himself. I sit there for half an hour and he doesnt show, ive trawled ever inch in my sights trying to get him up.

The last reload point has me on my own, so I'm trapped.

My only option for the last two unlocks is to go through the whole damn game again.

Anyone else had this or a work around?
 
Yeap this is a bug, you need to restart the level. i had to do it 3 times. It seems to not register u took out the last roadblock. That was after i kept reloading the last checkpoint for about 4 hours, was raging
I ordered the tanks to take it out from the building looking along the road to them, its a long shot with the sniper rifle, but tends to work.
 
Nope still nothing, there are no tanks to command, the game is just sitting there. When i try the level using my 3 men in a trial run game , it finds all the enemies. On my own it wont. I think I have to restart the whole damn game again :(

the rooftop level?

Go as far across the roofs as u can and send ya tanks forward. Around the corner from where ya tanks stop are enemies u need to look at the the buildings to the right of ya tanks, i threw a gren down in between a few of em and then i see some enemies appear. I think the last road block is around the corner from the tanks but u cant see em u just have to keep looking and shoot/gren sooner or later they will appear then u set ya tanks to kill em

im on about the competely wrong level cant even think which level u mean now :(

Right had to search through loads of forums for graw bugs but eventually found what I needed. Its the Capture Ontiveros level where you have to take out the rooftop snipers while your general is trying to talk them into quitting.

Its a bug in the game that you cant find the 2nd sniper sometimes. Turns out he's in the 2nd bell tower and you pump shots at it until he reveals himself.

Hard is now done :)

Time to sell ;)

I lost 7. Every good general uses cannon fodder ;) Or bait as I like to call them. Just go around the corner and check for snipers for me :D to

Sometimes I couldnt be bothered to save them, they kept joining in my fire fights when I wanted to kill them myself. Also was pretty miffed when a team mate killed carlos instead of me.

Not losing one thats good going.

Bah, you should be a general in WW1. 'Yes machine guns, best way to capture one is to run at it, no wait, WALK at it - slowly'. :p

Oh well, there's plenty of ways to skin a cat. Not that I would condone such a thing :eek:

Ha ha ha, if it kept the bullets from me then I suppose it's acceptable.

More importantly - it keeps the bullets away from your drinks cabinet in blightey! :D
 
Got another bug for you, in the prone position and moving, on some parts of levels, the figure stands up? laying down?, rather like hes waving shoot me, damned annoying :mad:

Yeah I got whacked on guardrail when he started doing star jumps. Really weird.
 
One would assume before I start playing this game that as you complete on hard it unlocks the normal achievments as well?

on DOA4 you have to make sure you get in the Silver threshold and the Gold threshold, you can't get Gold and then because you got gold get silver.
 
No doing it on hard only unlocks hard. So I did it normal first then breezed through hard.

The biggest bug on this game is the cheats, you can cheat and still get the unlocks. I caught a mate cheating, he did three levels on hard in 30 minutes. I watched him do it from my friends list. Then called him up as a cheat.

How stupid is that, you still get the achievements.
