GRAW disc scratched by 360, advice please!!

My 360 has just scratched my GRAW disc, it is now unreadable, also noticed lot's of very small, slight scratches on my copy of DOA4, what shouls I do and can I get my games replaced, doa is not even a week old, GRAW on the other hand was bought on the 10th of March, please advise!!!

Call MS, tell them what's happened and they might compensate you. Happened to a guy here at work and they sent him some games I think.

You should begin to look after your discs! However, there's a possibility something in the drive (a bit of grit possibly) is just scratching.

dude I treat my x360 and games like a woman would love to be treated, respectfully, paitently and with tender loving care, this was not my fault, I wouldn't hurt her for there world, it's worth so much to me(£)

a lot of the game manufacturers will replace faulty discs FOC.
You just need to send it to them and they return you a shiny new copy.
I did it recently with fight night 'cos it cracked while i was playing it.

Good job I dont treat my 360 games like my girlfriend, otherwise i'd have nothing to play. :cool:

got the new 360 and games I am very happy with the service I got from ***.
Got one that has a 26th of february manufacturer date it seems to spin a lot quieter when games are inserted, anyone else found this?

they have recently switched drives to samsung i think, i read an article somewhere, no advantage other than its quieter!

I put mine against my mates earlier today, played next to each other on different monitors but same server on Burnout Revenge and my drive is noticably louder. Think I'll swap it.

You cant swap the drives at the moment the kernel looks for a specific hashed key on the drive (Well its possible but involves flashing your drive which is riskey) . Also if your disks are physically damaged the CRC check will fail, so yeah take good care of your disks

The drives are, Hitachi-LG GDR-3120 and Toshiba/Samsung TS-H943 if your interested.
