Thats because you get kills deducted for use of wall hacks

If you want the full benifit.

You cant normally join if the host has it. I sometime take my HDD out if there are a few people that do not have the extra maps that want to play. (or if we are short on numbers). That allows everyone to join.

Personally I would recommend the expansion pack if you play this game regularly.

There are ways around it. It depends soly on if the host has the maps or not. So if the host does not have the maps you can play.

As I said above I usually host these games and I do take my Hard disk out (effectively removing the new maps) so that people without the update can play.
