I played ogame for over a year, and although I enjoyed it, it got rather hard and required constant monitoring. I am still not sure how this one will fair once you get loads of armies moving around, but so far, this is very good. The great UI helps nicely.

Is anyone interested in an Alliance then? Team OcUK perhaps?

Right, time to get back into the top 250.

Got a few accounts on it now, trying different ways of playing out (and testing the plus features) Got around 30 "people" but finding it low on resources :c

Plus not know wtf to do doesnt help :D

You need to build a marketplace :) To build one, you need to already have: Main Building level 3, Warehouse level 1, Granary level 1

I just need to upgrade my embassy one more level and I'll start an alliance.
 
it seems to be down now D: But an alliance would be nice to get sorted.


also is it possible for a short guide? Where stuff is (marketplace?!) etc etc, the ingame help aint too..helpfull
 
Ok well i have 2 accounts so il get an embassy built on them once someones set one up! Not got all that far yet, i think one has a population of 27 and one has a population of 31. Not sure though as i cant get on the site at the moment.

Edit: How far as everyone else got so far?

Yeah, it is down for me.

The manual isn't too bad, it takes plenty of checking to find what the build hierachy is, but it isn't too bad.

I think my population is 106 at the moment.
 
how long you been playing, so i can compare timescale :D?

Its starting to sound like quite an indepth little game, should be fun if we dont start getting raided to hell and back.

Thanks, I just need one more upgrade on my main building then. I think that'll have to wait till tomorrow though as I'm out of wood :(
 
Yay! waited for ages for it to come back up.. then starting building 2 things and thats it! damnit >.> Hate that, so eager to play but cant do anything xP
 
Alliance formed! I need people who want to join to add their tags to this thread.

EDIT: Everybody who has posted their name already has got an invite, so make sure you have level 1 embassy and check!

I've been having a look through it and the game is WAY more complex than I thought. This is basically multiplayer Civ! Read up on Heroes, and how they can capture Oasis etc!
