Great case for air cooling?

Nice looking case you have picked, but i have heard that the standard fans are a bit pap and don't push much air and because Corsair use a non standard fan thickness replacement choice is very limited.

Im looking at the same case too for my new build but i too have heard and seen benchmarked in some tests where this case does not really perform really well at all. NIce looking case though for sure and the cable management with those grommets is just fantastic.

Interestingly I heard this about the NZXT Phantom and I'm sure I saw assurances from a Corsair rep that the 600T will take pretty much any fan. I'm banking on the side panel with mesh plus extra fan(s) improving the cooling...

Front fan on the 600t is really not very good, ive changed mine to a thicker 30mm.

600t does look quite nice in white and adding fans to the side panel will help with the airflow.

yeah, i've got the phantom, and the 200 and 230mm fans are slightly different, so finding ones that fit is difficult, but the NZXT fans are very good anyway, so it's not much of an issue.
Anyway, don't be put off by any comments now. Enjoy your new case!

I'm not too bothered if it's not the best case as they all seem to have drawbacks even if it's being too big, HAF-X. With a bit of tweaking, the fun bit :), I reckon I can get decent temps out of the 600T...

You really should read reviews on the 600T first. It is not a good air cooler.

Above average case for air cooling thats it really.

As for the side panel and fitting 4 120mm fans that will make a difference but the noise, can a single 200mm fan be fitted instead?

What you need then is the RV02-E which fixes the dumb HDD mounting in the RV02. Unfortunately OCUK still seem to only have the RV02 but the RV02-E is available elsewhere.

I've got a FT02 myself which is basically the same as the RV02-E but made from aluminium so more expensive :(

After far too much consideration of cases, I'm inches close to buying a FT02B. A lot of people, reviewers and end users, seem to be united about how good this case is.

Looks a good case but putting my cash into other areas of the budget, £200 was a little too much...

Had both the RV02 briefly(lots of faults, dodgey case from manufacturer) but also hated it, got a HAF X instead, mostly better all around. Better hdd mounts, less cramped case, easier cable management, more adaptable, more room for watercooling if thats your thing, FAR more room for sli/xfire, better room for longer/bigger PSU's.

Frankly its better all around, unfortunately the RV02-e is almost as expensive as the aluminium version which is a touch frustrating, though thats in large part down to the penetrator fans being included which are, honestly, overly expensive, even though standard 180mm Silverstone fans cost about as much as penetrators in retail so a bit of a joke.

I like the Raven's design, its just needlessly small, 2-3 expansion slot deeper, 2-3 inches higher and it would still be a compact case but with a good design.

A none broken RV02 is a nice looking case, and I'd say great for a non high end computer, but if you're thinking about sli/xfire, or watercooling, the RV02 is just too small in every direction.

My plan is to remove the HDD cages and us the the 5.25" for disks, I only use one optical drive. I won't have any issue then with fitting a deeper fan and hopefully will achieve better airflow then. It will be a little while, as the white version is on pre-order, but I'll post up pics and temps once it gets built..

Looking forward to pics m8

I like my 600t more so since ive changed out the front fan, but do really like the white version

Yep after your post I've been reading the massive thread on overclock.net about the 600T some good ideas there I think it could work well for the kind of set up I have in mind. Someone mentioned that later 600T's and the white version have a redesigned front fan in them so may be worth me waiting to test it before changing...
