Dell Inspiron 1750 17" WLED TFT Dual Core T4300, 4GB DDR2, 320GB HDD Win7 Home Premium 64-bit - Blue - Open Box @ £399.99 inc VAT

LT-059-DE_400.jpg

Dell 1750 Inspiron T4300 laptop offers plenty of things that you find in high-end machines but nothing you don’t want in your handy notebook. Dell 1750 Inspiron has an enticing design and many ingenious features that would surely please you if you like to work smarter and always keep up with the new trends.

Dell 1750 can easily handle basic tasks and provides enough features to customise most of the things down to the black colour chassis. It is a slim-line piece innovated by Dell whilst keeping style and performance in mind. The processor is the Intel Pentium T4300 with Dual Core technology which never let it heat up or lag while you perform your routine work such as browsing, video chatting, word processing, emaling and running necessary softwares.

Lifting the lid will show you the most impressive feature of Dell 1750 Inspiron and that’s the 17 inche widescreen display. Despite having a big screen, it still looks slim and feels light on your shoulders. It is a highly recommended laptop for you if you are into multimedia or works outdoor. It can also be a mid range gaming laptop for you, if you are after some serious processing power.

It feels so good when you watch movies on it’s large screen or uses the 1.3 mega pixel webcam fixed on the front panel for video messaging with friends and family. Working on spread sheets and power point presentations with so much comfort and ease is something quite rare to find in budget laptops like Dell 1750 Inspiron.

In addition to the great processing potential, it also impresses when it comes to data storage. Equipped with 320GB hard drive with 5400 rpm, it allows you to store enormous amounts of data and the user-friendly Windows 7 is there to help you retrieve them quickly when needed. The 5400rpm is some thing you don’t normally see in an entry-level machine but Dell has used this technology in this low-cost model and that makes it a great success.

Dell Inspiron 1750 gives an absolute delight when it comes to battery life. Powered by a great processor and larger screen feature, a fully charged Dell 1750 Inspirion can let you work up to 4 hours without worrying about recharging. Whether you work on the internet, chat or listen to music, it will never let you down by suddenly going into hibernate mode. The 14Z is a brand new sealed box product, hence its higher price. :)
The 15Z and 1750 are both open box products and may have the very odd slight mark but hardly noticable and come with full 12 month warranty. :)

Now I don't know a huge amount about laptops, except the 14Z and 15Z are very small and light plus boast a very impressive 8hr battery life. But the 1750 I really like simply due to its 17.3" screen and having a true numeric keypad. All three seem very zippy and fast. I think these are some pretty incredible prices for what is very good products.

I dont really see the deal here?

You can pick up a laptop for a few quid more that has:

i3 / ATI 5470

Is that CULV with 8hr battery life?

Laptop specs differ greatly from screen sizes, battery type, technology type etc.

Then there is branding, for example an Acer is not in the same league quality wise as a DELL and so on.

maybe not, but surely a far better processor and video card is better than a better battery and better build,no?

If this was the case then DELL would be out of business, yet they are one of the largest laptop resellers in the world.

Am sorry but I'd rather pay extra or sacrifice specification slightly for a quality laptop from the likes of DELL or Sony. Plus CULV is pretty massive, twice the battery life, thinner, lighter which is the whole point of a laptop for it to be transportable and this is far more important than spec when it comes to laptops.

Acer are not bad laptops and they have a place. :)

im not complaining far from it

Im simply saying you can get a better spec elsewhere for the money

Why are you posting, are you buying one?

But the spec is not necessarily better though is it?

With laptops its not all about CPU and VGA performance. Laptop users are interested in other things such battery life been one of the most important, weight, screen type etc.

So in a way the one you posted is infact inferior depending on what your preference and goals are for a laptop.

No you can't you tool.

It's a totally different machine. It's not a gaming laptop and doesn't need the associated specifications, it's a lightweight, long battery life, mobile laptop which suits professionals who need something decent to slip into a briefcase. Not spotty nerds who want to play world of warcraft at max settings!

FWIW the 15z posted above at £399, is £599 on dell.com for exactly the same specs apart from 1GB less ram on dell.com. That makes it a total bargain in my books!

edit: and sorry about derailing this Gibbo but it makes me rage when every deal thread you post is full of people moaning! I think it's really great that ocuk are finding ways to give us lower prices if it means cutting profits or buying in display stock/refurbed stuff etc, I don't need to buy anything at the moment but when I do, I've been impressed by the attitude here and this is where my money will be going!

Thanks m8, it is appreciated. Yes our deals on these are very good and we batch inspect the stock when it arrives to make sure all is OK. :)

For me, battery life and screen are the most important aspects of a laptop.

Thats why I got a Macbook, it was before the time of CULV.

Macbooks are gorgeous and yes I agree screen, resolution and battery are pretty much the most important factors for a laptop. :)

Nice price on the CULV one, been looking for one similar for a while for a relative. They're a business user and something like that would be nearly perfect, shame it's not 12 or 13" though as they're looking for portability and battery life but I don't want to land them with an Atom netbook, hence I've been browsing the CULV ranges.

The 14" is small. ;)

I shall see if I can find any open box deals on the 12" and 13" models though. :)
