Anybody from here run this today?

I managed a time of 55 minutes which i'm pretty pleased with as I have done like no training whatsoever.

The event itself was awesome, great atmosphere.

Plus, I high fived alex ferguson !

I heard this race was reriously overpriced for a 10k run at about £25 (not sure how much exactly). Did Beverley 10k last sunday and it cost me £11 entry, doing Humber Bridge half marathon on June 25th and that is £12 entry fee. I think the cost of these 'big TV races' are seriously over=priced considering how much sponsorship money and tv money they recieve.

true, to an extent, but we got a nice tshirt, medal and goody bag. however, the stuff they gave you wasnt as good as last years when it was a proper nike tshirt, this year is just some ***** brand.

i think the price is set at £25 cos they know that even at that price, every place will still be taken. anyway, its all going to a good cause i'd hope.
