The fan on my 2+ years HX750 started buzzing, RMA to corsair Netherlands and they send me back a sealed HX750 the updated version. Simply excellent service. If you intend on buying a new branded PSU, I suggest you go corsair for peace of mind if something does go wrong with your purchase. That is all.

Wow. Coincidence. The exact same thing I have just noticed the other day is happening to my PSU. I have a Corsair HX650 and the fan is clicking/buzzing/rubbing type noise.
Trouble is. I bought it from members market on here, BUT, it was brand new. Someone else was selling it because they just got it back brand new from RMA. It was brand new in November 2010, so....not sure if it was a 3 or 5 year warranty but hopefully even though it was an RMA it should still be under warranty. Not sure if it only goes from the original original purchase date though which I don't know.

Can you talkme through the RMA process and what to do? Would I need to provide the original receipt? I think this would show the original owners address. I could just send the RMA form in the box?

Cheers for help with this.

Yeah the HX PSU's all have a seven year warranty so it's covered, follow the link below and fill in the details to request an RMA.

You will be required to send the PSU to the Netherlands at your own cost, but I recently found out that people have called corsair through their Skype number and have got them to get UPS to pick the faulty unit up at cost to corsair.

Get the RMA approved and then decided if you want to try and get free shipping or not. It cost me £20 through parcel monkey via parcel force. As for receipt, they never asked me for one, they may track its history through the serial number.
