Recently purchased components for my new computer i was building. received the parts and began building. duel channel ram wasn't working so i tested slots and believed slots 3 and 4 were faulty.
I then requested an RMA and upon dismantling i noticed a pin was slightly raised in the CPU socket. Now, apparently this came under physical damage and i had no idea how it was bent. i put the CPU in properly etc and made sure it was.
After talking with OCuK, i sent in my motherboard to get it checked out out of good will by OCuK.
To my surprise the next day, i had received a brand new board.
I'd like to thank OCuK for the service they provided and for replacing my motherboard.
I now have my new system running and am happy i can use my other components
.
EDIT: damn, im not sure if this is in the right place. i meant to put it in the GD.
