Just wanted to give credit where it's due - my Benq monitor got some dark shadowing on the panel (backlight failing?) and was still under warranty (3 year warranty, had it for 2 years 6 months) - they got me to take a pic, arranged for DHL to pick it up and I had a replacement within two weeks with zero hassles (apart from DHL being bell-ends). Their repair place is in the UK so it was a real pleasure dealing with them - great stuff!

It's nice to know that there's still good customer service to be had out there with tech, a lot of companies are are an absolute ballache to deal with when something goes wrong.
I actually had to have a Philips TV repaired about a year ago and had a fantastic experience. There were lines on the screen, I sent them a picture and a week or so later and they'd organised for someone to come to my home and replace the panel with a new one with zero fuss.
