arsenal got themselfs a cracking player, that WILL want to play for them, no-one knows what happens behind closed doors, its all he said this or he said that.. same applys for cole really..

i do believe they will be a lot more solid at the back this season! good look to him.

imo Gallas was as important to Chelsea as Makelele and Terry and was well within his right to demand wages of a similar amount as them. And he would walk into every team in the EPL if not the world.
No he wouldn't. Maybe as a squad player, but certainly not as a starter.
Terry and Carvalho were better than him in CB and he was never going to play LB infront of Cole, if he'd have stayed at Chelsea he would have been a substitute.

He's gone to Arsenal where I would take Toure over him any day. I could name 10 CB's I rate higher than Gallas without thinking hard at all.

Did you actually read what I said?
That's twice now, read & respond to what I say if you must, but don't make stuff up.

To be fair Diarra has only played 9 times for Chelsea and 5 as sub, i dont think thats even a fraction of the time needed to say he'll be as good as makalele some day, he's a regular sub for the france U21's so he's hardly lighting up the stage there.

If you looked at Eboue's performances last season there were people saying he's one of the best RB's in europe, fast forward to this season and the expectations are a little higher and he's played some shocking games and most arsenal fans want Lauren back pretty quickly.

As Reyes proved when he scored those 2 goals against your boys, a few games doesn't make a great player ;)

Well, here’s an extract from Crystal Palace Chairman Simon Jordan’s column in the Guardian from a few months ago:

The closest I’ve come to losing it with a journalist was in 2002, after London’s Evening Standard, who’d always had great access and cooperation from us, started producing a string of barbed, personal **** takes.

I decided that if they wanted to write this stuff, fine, but they weren’t going to do it on our premises, so I withdrew their accreditation. The sports editor’s reaction was this: instead of calling me, he phoned our shirt sponsor to suggest they reduced payments to us because they’d be getting less exposure in the Standard. Then he warned me that banning Standard journalists would have a negative effect on Palace’s results. I asked him what the hell he was talking about, and he implied that if I obstructed his journalists and restricted his press access, the type of coverage they’d be giving us would have a negative effect on morale.

So where is this guy now? Four years on, he’s the top PR man at Chelski, a club with a reputation for obstructing journalists and restricting press access. PR Week says ‘Simon Greenberg is about to embark on a major charm offensive’ in football, to boost Chelski's image. Stand back, and watch him go.

Arseblogger knows all :D

I never claimed he was, I just asked the numpty if he had seen him play as Chelsea fans & JM think he'll do a good job in that role eventually. He ignored that & fabricated a completely different scenario, presumably as he didn't get the response he desired. Maybe he needed that for his own version of virtual masturbation or something, can't see any other reason for his baiting :/

And even the most diehard chelsea fan would have to admit mourinho is a bit of a ****head.
kdd said:
will also add that it is well timed considering the criticism mourinho has recieved regarding the 'slave' comment today. Classic bit of spin.
kdd said:
BTW, as I have a Chelsea fan's attention I will just say that you are finito when Makelele retires and we'll see how good fat frank is then! :D
JohnnyG said:
I take it you haven't seen Diarra play then?
kdd said:
Makelele is a one off mourinho must be having a fit worrying about when he retires.
JohnnyG said:
You chose to ignore my Diarra question then?
kdd said:
Hmm that's a bit like say someone called me a name and then i turned round and nutted them then said, 'hey i had a right to retaliate'.
JohnnyG said:
Hmm what I said is nothing like that, don't misquote me.

I'm all for a good discussion about things, but can't be doing with trolling:)

hahhah Chelsea continue to make themselves look like idiots. It's only themselves that are bringing the reputation of the club down.

First they have saucy dinner sessions with our best english player, then months later poach him away in a swap deal. Then they hold their noses high about how they're a British team (SWP?!! Aww, don't say a better foreigner plays in his position?).

Fact is they can do what they want, it certainly says something when people support Arsenal Liverpool and even Manu in Europe but the ENTIRE football supporting nation (bar their fans) cheer Chelsea getting beat.

IMO he is better than Carvalho, you said you would take Toure over him (fair enough, i don't agree though) but who's the other CB at Arsenal that would stop him getting into there team?

I don't see any 'trolling' johnnyg bit of an uncalled for comment, if you can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen. Will just say that whining 'Troll!' is the first refuge of someone who has lost their way in a debate. Personal attacks are very childish.

Will also add johnnyg you take things a bit too seriously, caning a footy team you don't like is an age old footy custom not well liked i know by the new breed of fans who jumped in off the back of certain clubs recent successes.

I'll debate anytime, you clearly cannot otherwise you would answer the questions I put instead of just carrying on with your fantasy.
I rarely take anything seriously in here, don't bother adding that.
Thanks for pointing out the age old custom for me. I'm only 19 & have only been following football for 4yrs (Man.U. & now Chelsea) so I'm not used to stuff like that, when I grow up I hope to know it all, like you:)

I didn't say that, I said it's small with a lime green cover.
I won't be a Chelsea fan for long though, Aston Villa are looking good now

still say chelsea are b*ggered when makelele retires, also how much bottom kissing did you have to do to be a 'man of honour'? Seriosuly you're rude and arrogant and like making judgements against people not very honourable.
Btw had a look in your profile and it says you're a milkman. Explains a lot, don't get uppity with me delivery boy.

Its a pretty poor situation really all around. Gallas has ben itching for a move for some time with Milan supposed suitors at the end of last season. Gallas has come out and said a few things that Mourhiniho/Chelsea has took umbridge to. To be honest I dont think its that bad what he has said in terms of the Mourhiniho being fickle blah blah. If he did make the comments about scoring own goals or not playing its pretty low considering where he came from and what he has won at Chelsea

Chelsea who have chosen to bring this to the public domain. Johnny G is right that Chelsea have the absolute right to respond to any comments made by William Gallas. However, this makes them just look petty and tit for tat and certainly puts a question mark over how classy they are. A better response would have been to refute any comments from Gallas and leave it at that. Straight away Gallas has the moral high ground by responding and saying nothing at all

I think the true and only real point in this matter, is that Gallas is the only player at Chelsea who has actually come out and said he doesnt want to be there, he's wanted to leave for a year or something and thats got to hurt someone like Mourinho.

I reckon if Chelsea keep 'it' (meaning airing their dirty laundry in public, tapping up players, portraying arrogance from certain areas, wild spending sprees, accusations of bias from UEFA, the Barcelona incidents, having the likes of PK as a mouthpiece) up for much longer, they will start losing a lot of respect. In recent (Premiership at least) years I'd say that Manchester United have been the most disliked English club amongst the public - a lot of that down to jealousy - however I think there is a genuine chance that Chelsea could take this mantle away from them.

I've always been one to say that Chelsea have deserved their titles, as in my opinion they have been the best team, regardless of how that team was assembled. I can even see that part of the show Mourinho puts on is simply a psychological game, he likes the siege mentality and uses the press to exert his influence on not only his own squad, but also rival managers and officials. But there comes a point where my respect for their acheivements on the pitch will be tempered by their behaviour off it.
