Green Circle With Arrow Symbol In Forums????

I have been noticing in different forums i have been getting an icon appear above certain words which looks like a green circle with a arrow....

Any ideas on what the hell this is??

either spyware or part of a browser addon. i think a few people have had issues with a chrome addon doing something like this recently.

What browser are you using and you tried testing for this issue under a new profile?

For firefox, you'd just run "firefox.exe -p" (without quotes) from the run command(windows key + R).

Yeah im using FireFox, have run Malwarebytes and Windows Defender (win 81.) and doesnt detect anything

EDIT: Have uninstalled FireFox and reinstalled and all seems to be fine now

This might be the Websearch malware/trojan, I had something very similar to this last weekend, MalwareBytes seems to have sorted things.

Creating a new profile likely would have had the same result, but if a reinstall worked, cool beans!
