anyone over here got a Green Computer

According to www.techroar.com/2009/06/03/green-computers/ seems like you can buy a Dual Core 2.0GHz green computer for about $500

We all here are looking for bargains... forget about using recycled bamboo shell laptops.. how many of you use recycled paper

Im sure they have made the top side waterproof or something. I just dont think they look very nice. Id much rather use recycled metal for a normaly case and it come with a free pot plant to liven up my desk.

They are just a gimic IMHO and only people who live in trendy minamilistic flats will buy one.

I know asus do something called an EEE box (i think) and it uses around 20w of power when pushed. I guess thats pretty 'green' ?

I wouldn't ever go for one myself, but I think they're a great idea.

Plenty of power for everyday apps - internet/MS office/email, ie 90% of the population, but environmental and cheap to run.

Even if you're not an eco-hippy, you can appreciate the lower energy bills.

Quite a cool idea, I can see how some people would find them appealing, however any interest I had in it was removed with the first line.

i thought it was crysis and the fact you could shoot the trees down, that sort of violance makes me hate trees and want to kill them all as im so impressionable and must mimik everything i do in a game.
