Green Dot - 2007WFP

I just noticed a green dot about 1.5-2cm across. It was almost solid in the middle and blurred around the edges. At first I thought it was the web page but it was still there when I moved an MSN window over it.

It was there for a couple minutes but dissapeared when I went to take a picture of it. I've never seen anything like this on an LCD before. Is this something to be worried about?

Sounds like dead or stuck pixel.

2 cm across doesn't sound like a stuck pixel.

Hmm.... could be anything really, monitor, video card, DVI cable. Really hard to say, although monitor fault is the most likely cause. If it comes back or becomes permanent you could try the screen on another PC. Check the DVI lead is in tightly too. It's unusual for a whole load of pixels to all fail together but I suppose it could happen.

Thanks for the advice. It hasn't done it since. Hopefully it was a one time thing.
