Green file names

ive just formatted a laptop for someone, i firstly save sthe word and powerpoint stuff,
to my surprise when i went back to put the saved files back on it, they wouldnt copy across, and the names were in green

any help??

Did they encrypt the files or was encrypted turn on in PP?
Looks that way to me.

EDIT= I hope they backed up the EFS Certificate and Keys.
