Green flickering

I have a 1070ti and a bunch of games give me a green flicker when I load up a game. If I change res or hz or fullscreen/window, it goes away. This is a real pain! Does anyone know what causes this?

I've done some googling with suggestions ranging from the cable to drivers to the additional junk that comes with drivers. But these posts are all 2017 time talking about 38x.xx drivers :/

It's quite a new card so I'm disappointed that this has happened :(

First I would try a new cable. The fact it fixes when changing res or refresh rate suggests it could be the cable.

You could also try this, use a recording software like shadow play and record when the green screen happens. If it shows up on the recording then its the GPU if it doesn't then its the display/cable.

I'm back!! Had this issue on a couple of 4K panels, either where I'd get a complete green screen till I forced quit the software, or the content would show up but in a green hue, like yourself changing the res and or refresh rate would sort the issue, this was fixed by using my Xbox one s HDMI 2.0 lead as it's a quality cable. No doubt the previous one I used was labeled 2.0 but was a cheap jobby. Pretty sure it's a bandwidth limit that causes this. As above though test with recording
