Does anyone have some pictures of any Green LED's?

Is there any more than one colour of green for LED's?

I'm kind of looking for a dark green, (like British Racing Green), and, am wondering what the best way to get this colour might be?

Theres are loads of different colours of greens, what you need to do is find the wavelength of the colour you require, and get hunting!

You could also get RGB LEDs and provide a variable amount of voltage/current to each colour to arrive at your preferred colour. This won't be as hard as it sounds once you work out what the LEDs need to get the colour you want.

Ok, well say, hypothetically, I found a colour on Photoshop, or even backlit colour on my keyboard, that I liked, what would be the best way to find out what wavelength that is?

And to Teal, what would be the easiest way to alter the voltage through them? In all honesty, my knowledge of electrical circuitry doesn't go far beyond GCSE Physics...

RGB LEDs can be controlled through special controller boxes or by using a constant voltage supply (say 5v or 12v) and adding resistors as appropriate to each colour leg to drop down the voltage until the mix of the colour is as desired. A way to do this would be to use 3 potentiometers so you can twiddle until you get the perfect colour and then measure the resistance, then use resistors of that value.

Sounds a bit of a pain and it will be. Still it is a solution. Fun though, if you like that sort of thing.

If you can buy LEDs with the correct wavelength then even better.

I've no real idea but maybe something 530-540nm might do the trick?

Im using a NZXT Green led strip and its very very good unfortunatly all of my pics dont do it justice at all.
