Well Colossous (from a competitors forum) just dropped by and left some huge cases with me.

Pictures

What came out of the cases. (not the knife by the way)

Hard drives (20Gb Maxtor, 10Gb Maxtor and some Seagate not sure on size though) and graphics card from one PC.

An Intel mobo. Gigabyte something or other forgotten the name. Has a Celeron on it and AGP.

Graphics card, ethernet card and RAM. Think they are all PC2100. Think they are 512mb each.

Another Intel mobo. Not idea what it is.

Im planning on bolting them togther.

Custom front and top panels.
Custom window in the side panel.
Custom watercooling.
Sprayed or powder coated.
Going to have around 10 fans in there.
Thinking about having a horizontal mobo or the mobo at an angle at the moment.

Will think more about it tomorrow, got to do physics course work no seen as I lost an hours worth of work in school becuase the bloody PC (a Dell) decided to freeze just before I was about to save it.

Well I've never heard of hosing a case down before, a bit different from my duster and hoover approach! I must admit at first I was wondering why you were doing it all outside, especially when it didnt look that sunny!

Good luck with the build, I'll be watching with interest to see what ideas you come up with. Old server style case modding seems to be the popular thing at the moment, saddly there were'nt any candidates in the skip at work yesterday. :(

PK!

The memory looks like SDRAM jusding by the notches in it. And if they are 512Mb each then you can make a pretty penny from them :)

Just got loads of exams etc etc blah blah blah over June and not fogetting the 18th Birthday parties that are on every weekend through out June :)

btw looks like a beast, should be a good project, now get to work, we want to see more pictures *shakes fist*

Agree with meatloaf, I think the older celerons used sdram.

Yea, thats right. Ive got plenty of SDRAM here, at work.. ranging from 32 to 256mb chips. Use it for training purposes. I did hear you can make a pretty penny from them too. Had a few offers hehe, just search on google.
