I think Dead Island is a steamworks game, says you need a steam account to play it. :)

GFWL isn't the greatest but durm on top of durm is just annoying.
 
they do give you steam keys.

my lotr the war in the north was activated om steam..

if a game is a steam works game theres no way round it i dont think...
 
Not sure on whether we can "exploit" their credit referral system in a fair way? I earned £10 from OcUKers during the BF3 buying season, it's free money if people are signing up and buying anyway..
 
Yeah I exploited it a bit when I signed up. Ended up with a tenner credit before I did anything. There was a thread where everyone was posting their referral link but it got locked as I don't believe it is allowed.:p

I believe it was the thread that Neil reffereed to earlier in this thread.
 
I bought Arkham City off of there a while back and every time an update is released, because it isn't located in the usual system directory, the game has a meltdown and I have to do it manually.

Maybe GFWL don't work well with GmG's Capsule...?
 
I can't recommend them highly enough,

The offers and promo's they do are awesome.

I've used them to purchase my last 3 main games (FM2012, BF3 and Red Orchestra 2)

And their customer support has been top notch any time I have ever had to talk to them.

Getgamesgo are another UK based company who also sell keys which can be activated on Steam.
 
guys, can fear 3 and condemned be activated on steam ? just started using it on recommendation of this thread, quick ahah says prices are only there for 12 mins
