Does anyone else have any problems with this 'service'. I bought Ass III digital deluxe as I wanted the extra DLC and missions. Installed the capsule, downloaded the ZIP (?!) file and tried to install. Bombed out halfway through unzipping due to 'a corruption in the archive'. Cleared the cache, re downloaded (4 times). Exactly the same. It won't even download now, just says it's queued for gods sake.
Tried the helpline, it's an answerphone! Tried the forum, nothing. Tried twitter, nothing. Lodged a ticket but that says it takes up to 4 days for an acknowledgement!
Was really looking forward to this game this weekend, looks like I'm going to Visa for a refund. But this means I lose the pre order bonuses. :mad:

Good luck trying to get a refund via Visa. I know you are frustrated, but that is a rather jump the gun reaction to do. I'm sure GMG will resolve the problem for you. I think Visa will just refer you back to the retailer at this stage.

The irony is that people poke sticks at CJS keys compared to GMG, but I had an issue with my Creed 3 key and I received a replacement within 30 minutes after creating my ticket at 10.30pm.
 
Yeah, am just a tad annoyed at the moment. Ironically I was also one of the doubters of CJS but never again!
I will try the code in Steam though, good idea. (Edit. Doh! Not available!) Can't lose anything, the capsule is now downloading another ZIP at 500kbs. Only 8 hours to go!
I tried the running as admin too, no different. Ta anyway.

i found greenman very helpfull.
i preordered far cry 3 about 2hrs ago,
then i found out about people having problems with slow download speeds via capsule,so i wanted to cancel that,and i got a response from them in half an hour which i think is great service from them:)

Ahh, your a star mate.
I have literally just got the game playing (albeit missing some content, not serious though). After a lot of button smashing and convoluted thinking and deleting/re-installing certain files we are good to go.
Managed to get through on the phone this morning and they emailed instructions over that I had already tried but mysteriously the last download unzipped and installed, after a bit of fannying about.
No probs with GMG apart from the bizarre and fragile way of the game delivery capsule. I'm scared to go near it again!

Sorry but CJS supplied lot's of OcUK peeps keys for GW2 that were obtained via stolen CC, I wouldn't give them a penny of my cash again.

I've bought about 12 games via GMG with no problems but like any company they might have problems now and then.
 
Instead of starting a new thread i thought i would post here.

Can i buy a game from GMG at work ? RE: Far Cry 3- and just leave the code sitting in my e-mail...

or, as soon as i purchase something, does it FORCE me to install immediatley through the capsule?

If the latter is the case, i cannot download anything at work, so i will have to wait till i get home.
