Green Mile

No heads up? Gutted :(

Must admit its one of the silliest things on these forums.
We can talk about any program once its been shown but we can't discuss it before its been on.
Sometimes there are brilliant TV programs that the rest of us need to know about.
Perhaps a sticky like the 'Whats playing now' and all the heads up can go in there.

Green Mile - seen it about ten times and it gets better.

The rule doesn't appear to apply to Top Gear though.

Depends, some of the TG heads up get removed, others don't.

Didn't watch Green Mile last night, but several people in my halls haven't seen it so I'll have to grab the DVD and get them to see it, a most excellent film :)

Great film. I missed the end last night though becuase I fell asleep (a bit poorly sick atm so I wasn't really up for staying up late). I have seen it before but hate missing the end of a film :(

Loved the books too. I really enjoyed the way it was first brought out, one installment per month. Although I always finished them the same day i got them, it was great having a bit of suspense and something to look forward to. Not entirely sure if this has been done with any novels since.

Have to say, the book is really good. Read it before I saw the film, so to me it was better ( i know they always are).

Damn good story though.

Very moving film, many of Hank's best movies have really made me think in the past.

yay, fellow Stephen King fans :) the books were excellent, I remember shortly after finishing them I read in Film Review that they were making the film and Tom Hanks was in it, funny thing was I pictured Tom Hanks as I was reading it. The cast were superb as well. And from the same director as Shawshank Redemption (another Stephen King story).
