I am with Plusnet and have been using their mail system as my my main mail address

I received notification that I was being (along with all other Plusnet users) transferred to Greenby - free service for the next two years.

Tranfer went ahead and all seemed in order BUT now i find that I am either unable to log in to look at e-mails or if I manage to log in the service is awful (very slow or more usually 504 Gateway Time- out)

Anyone got any experience of the company and/or a contact number where I can speak to someon (NOT ai)

I've experienced similar issues with email accounts years ago. Have had a quick look, there is an FAQ on the "Greenby" website. The last point states:

Web Hosting, Domain, Email, Cloud

greenby.com

If you would like to call us, let the agent know and we can arrange a call, however you should ensure your migration has been completed first and you have received your Greenby welcome email. Until this time please continue to contact Plusnet for information and support.

Afraid all I can suggest is to try and ask the Bot to request someone call you, or if you don't think the migration has completed, go back to Plusnet support and ask for help.

Thanks for the info - turned out thst , hopefully, it was a weekend gremlin as appears to be working correctly now. Will keep an eye !!

I'm also with plusnet and had been using a custom domain with a redirect. As soon as I got wind of PN binning email, I decided that was the time to shape up and ship out. I went with Fastmail, which has been great and pretty cheap at ~4quid a month. Goodness knows how much Greenby will charge after the 2 year period is up!

Not very helpful I know but after reading the endless gripes with how the migration progresses via the PN forums, and realising that email is no longer a fad, a proper hosted solution was the way to go for me.

e: Funnily enough, today I received the email from PN notifying me of the migration for my mailbox starting February 9th. I'm opting out.
