I suspect we'll play the same team again, but I'd like to see this line up for the tougher away challenge of Swansea.
Obertan did well with his pace and power, so deserves to keep his place. Aarons can cause problems and be a threat. Cisse deserves his start again after scoring, however I think Mitrovich would offer better options for us as Swansea are likely to have the majority of possession. Haidara really needs to up his game tomorrow, but he's the only option we have unfortunately.

It would be nice to see some entertaining football from us tonight, not expecting it though. 
I really hope we don't persist with Depay playing behind the striker, he's rarely done that and it seems stupid trying to give him a new role when he's in a new league too. Typical LvG thing to do though.

Yeah i don't understand why Mata isn't in behind Rooney. If LVG is playing a possession based game then having two slower but technically gifted players is the way to go. You want Depay on the wing for counters. I think Villa might win tonight. They'll fancy it tonight down in Birmingham... friday night football init

5:30 on a Saturday is a weird time. Friday night, Saturday early afternoon, two games on Sunday afternoon and Monday night football for me.

Hope so, and hopefully Januzaj can get back on track as he's no doubt got a lot of talent. I think if he has a bad game he'll go out on loan.
