Palace had a poor start for Hodgson in that the first game was only a couple days after he took over and they lost 1-0, then two away games to City and Utd where they got thrashed. Since then it's 3 wins, 5 draws and 2 losses and up to 18th in the table from a literal rock bottom with 0 points. If they win the game today they'll be up to 14th before the rest of the games are played this weekend. Hell, they'll only be 5 points off Watford in 9th.

For all the crap Hodgson gets, and he was bad at Liverpool, he's done plenty of decent jobs in the prem league and he's made Palace immensely stronger.
