Martinez says he understands the fans’ frustrations and concerns over the team’s current plight but insists he and players are hurting just as much.

“Of course, we are the first ones who are frustrated,” the Everton boss said.

“There was one performance that wasn’t good enough and that was against Hull.

“But the performances have been better than the results have shown and that is a frustration.

“When results are not going well there is a big fashion to be critical of our football club but proper Evertonians are showing their support and are realistic and are understanding that we have played a lot better than the results show

I understand him putting on a front in post match interviews and the like, but when you are putting out a message and addressing the fans upfront and straight for you then say the above then I'm sorry Roberto but you're well past '****ing mental' if you think that.

****ing clown.

We aren't playing better than the results show, we are getting what we deserve through half ****ed team selections, formations, tactics and substitutions.

I'm sure we will be fine though and he has a few wigan players waiting to be signed. I think if he stays at home we could get 3 points at Palace.

Carrick now out for a month, but that's not a major problem as Blind can fill in.

LvG in his press conference has implied he's going to look at changing the style or system as we aren't creating nearly enough chances, so we'll see tomorrow...

I'll happily take a draw tomorrow, especially with Luis, Costa & Fabregas out.
The bench will be quite interesting as with no Schurrle or Salah too (supposedly) they'll be a few youngsters on there I guess.

Tim Krul; Daryl Janmaat, Mike Williamson, Fabricio Coloccini (c), Massadio Haidara; Moussa Sissoko, Vurnon Anita, Jack Colback; Remy Cabella, Ayoze Perez, Sammy Ameobi

Gouffran is on the bench :o

I think I would have Gouffran starting instead of Ameobi!
