David Silva not available for City. Hopefully that will make the game a little easier. I don't expect us to beat City but that gives me a glimmer of hope.

And if we do beat them we will be a point behind City in a season where we have a new manager and half a new team. I am enjoying the football we are playing already 10 times more than I did last season so I'm perfectly happy right now.

Agreed.

It's no shock, if you remove Carrick, cleverly, valencia from the team and replace them with pretty much anyone the football is going to be better. If you spend 73 million to do it on two players it would be hard not to.

While people have veen calling Carrick xarrick and think valencia is a highly dependable winger then you know we had a problem, not just on the pitch bit with fanboy complacency.

Spot on

Today should be interesting with Toon in a bit of form, got offered 5 tickets for free and 1 for a tenner in the last few weeks leading up to this and I turned them all down as we were playing **** wish I was there now, be a good game.

Still think Liverpool are more likely to win but we are in with a shout at least.

Really surprised Borini hasn't been given another run out :/ Rodgers going back to one up front really doesn't fill me with confidence he just isn't learning.

Glad Countinho starts though :)

Tim Krul; Daryl Janmaat, Steven Taylor, Fabricio Coloccini (c), Paul Dummett; Moussa Sissoko, Mehdi Abeid, Jack Colback; Gabriel Obertan, Pa**** Cisse, Sammy Ameobi

after a poor start to season he has really improved last couple of games

Yup he does seem prone to dips though but once taken back out always comes back in form oddly, Its Sterling who i think needs abit of a break now but no one to come on in his place one of reasons i wish we kept Ibe
