Disappointing. I could complain about the team selection but I think most people can see the midfield is weaker.

Giggs isn't really suited to high tempo games vs extremely good midfielders any longer (hasn't been for a while).

Kagawa is a class apart on the ball in forward positions, yet he doesn't get a start. Baffling.

Still, I can't see it really mattering league-wise. :cool:
 
We have a better squad and manager but we're behind on first eleven. We'll struggle to win cups and Europe unless we improve that.

Exactly, you need an extremely strong first eleven (for Europe at the very least), as well as having a good squad.

Our strongest eleven is some way behind other teams.
