Yep they are holiday resorts, still popular judging from the last time I was there. Its a really nice city, I really liked the aquarium there. The centre has a really nice feel about it.

Haven't seen an aquarium just st marys church and the roads to freedo
I'm sat in gdansk square now with a nice beer haha

funnily enough i was looking at going to Gdansk the other day, Whats it like, you can hopefully give me more reason to go than just to get away

by the look of your pics i think weve got more poles in manchester than youve got in gdansk.

and the words 'hot', 'polish'and 'women' and not words you usually find together.

Tbh mate it's lovely it really depends on what you are after i'm sat here in the main street watching the world (and women) go by and I haven't met one unfriendly person yet. If I was travelling I would come here but not just for gdansk if you are here it's nice if you had to goto one place I wouldn't choose here

My uncle lives in Gdansk. Its a really nice place in general and the old town is fantastic. But there are some run down areas. Hell of a lot of development going on aswell. I lost count of how many shopping centers they were building.

If you can take a day out to go to the 'Hel' peninsula. There are some fantastic sparcely populated beaches. :)
