When I used to go to the dogs in Portsmouth you don't actually write anything down, you just go to the window and say 2-1 straight forecast, or 1-2 reverse forecast.

Pretty easy.

Yeah that's what you do at Sunderland too. Go upto the totty on the desk and tell them what you want!!!

I went just last Friday. Was my mates Birthday. About 10 or so of us went before heading off to Newcastle. Was a good night. Not much luck on the betting side of things mind.

The place is getting refurbished at the minute. At least the place where we were was. We were upstairs at the bar side. Rather than the resteraunt. It was quite busy actually.

All in all, it was a good night. Lost a bit of money like

I was down about £20-£30.

I usually go for reverse trios.

Basically pick 3 dogs. If these 3 dogs finish in the top 3 (any order) you win.

A 50p reverse trio costs a total of £3 (are are 6 bets laid).

You dont need to write tickets out. You just tell the people on the betting desks the bet you want to place.

I've been to the MK track, its mainly old folk, sort of, but at the same time its young people as well, bookies are good, can win a fair amount, if you place low bets, dogs are pretty hard to judge especially as lane 1 always has an advantage anyway! The dogs a phenomenal if you've never seen them race before! Then you get used to how awesome they are. Go with mates, it will be a laugh!
