The chairman of my RX-7 car club had this message from Codemasters this month.

Our audio team would like to record a RX-7 on track or airfield. We will pay for the location and compensate the car owner’s time and travel.we are looking for a car that is heavily modified and with loud, characteristic noise. We will need the owners who are interested in this provide us with their modification details (engine and exhaust in particular), so our audio guys can review their spec in order to find a suitable one.

I'm all excited now. Loved Grid and Grid 2 is well overdue. 2013 though

Man, that's a long wait.

Grid hasn't aged well I felt. I fired this up a few weeks back and it really is showing its age.

It was, and still is a very good racing title. Why is it that codemasters pull of decent titles like Dirt 3 and Grid yet F1 2010 and F1 2011 really are a bit of a mess?

That's appalling English from someone supposedly making an offer to work with a company like Codemasters.

Sounds more like a potential thief trying to case out a load of RX-7s

Different CM studios make F1 and Grid/Dirt.

not before time, i loved Grid, very good racing game, and the engine behind it works, it's pretty much the same in the Dirt series, be good to see a 2nd game come out with more options this time
