***GRID 2***

Played this a few times yesterday at EG, both on the 360 pad and a Logitec wheel, on the pad i REALLY enjoyed it, it was the Chicago track in the first video, which looks stunning, moves really quick and sounds fantastic.

The car handles really well, with a good amount of drifting, and some damage if you get it wrong, Using the Wheel was awful for me, it was constantly trying to correct it self, and fighting what i was doing, for feedback it felt nothing like a car. it was also way to sensitive.

This was one of the highlights on the show for me, along with Tomb Raider.

I forgot i pre-ordered this last year, i got an email and it arrived yesterday.

I played a bit of it last night, its a good fun arcade racer. The handling took a bit of getting used to after playing so much Forza though.

I only played a couple of levels of single player and about 10 online races, i like it, it reminds me of the first Grid game, a good laugh.

Knew I should have just went to tesco instead, would have only cost £29 after clubcard points. Only reason I got it off PSN was for all the free DLC

Well it unlocked after another phonecall, wish they hadn't bothered lol.

It's just a laggy mess on PS3, The FPS are terrible and must be averaging 20FPS or something.

picked it up for the PS3, took ages to get going, and signed in, then it crashed, eventually i did the first race and the practice thing, looks great and flows really well, cant wait to get some time to play it.

got it on rental for the 360, wasn't too sure about the handling at first but seems to be getting better with time, the whole having to drift to go faster thing is certainly new to me! usually avoid losing grip in racing games but drifting sideways gets you round some corners faster in this game, pretty satisfying pulling off a big drift like!
would be good to try out online but don't think i'll be putchasing the pass

Played a couple online races last night, First was laggy as hell, and felt like it was running at 20fps for most of the race, still managed to win though.

2nd was with some friends and match made people, we are level 1-5-7 and got put agasint 11 and up lol, with stupidly fast cars none of us could keep up with.

Sticking to around 8 players seems to help and also no city tracks. Made a couple of new friends who set up games with about 5 races in on the proper race tracks....just like the touring tracks in grid 1 :D
