GRID (2019)

This is why Grid 2 is available for free over on Steam to draw up some interest in the series. The first 3 games, minus the cockpit view completely gone in the 2nd, and a bit blurry in the 3rd game, these are quite good racing games if you enjoy progressive arcade racing.

Hopefully be good, I'll follow and hope for a decent next game in the series.

I loved autosport but will this offer anything over FH4 and FM7?

In short, no, the original GRID had the line down perfectly being very arcadey whilst also hints of taking it's self serious. The only lobbies were always a great laugh. But in this day and age, it will be lost amongst the bigger boys.

The trailer didn't give away much tbh and wasn't engine based footage which seems to be a big thing these days,

It did however make me want to go back and play some more Autosport with the touring car legends :D.........so fair play codies

Some tracks are exactly those in GRID 1 and seeing the return of LE Mans, looks like this is sort of a REMASTERED version instead of GRID 4.

Hopefully not, I'm looking forward to some Grid racing again,

Even it if is it won't necessarily be a bad thing.

From the gameplay video, it looks and feels really GRID 1.
The 2nd part of the gameplay where the GT cars take place, it's a new track of Shanghai, as written on the banner in the beginning, with a lot similarity to the Dubai and Paris tracks from GRID 2, yet I dont see any iconic buildings from Shanghai within that part of the video.
Probably it's night time and it is certainly not final, lets just hope that they would have a nice replay system like the previous GRIDs.
