GRID control problems

Hi

Bought GRID yesterday and I attempted to play it with the standard keyboard and mourse set-up which was impossible to say the least. I've today gone and got out my old steering wheel and set it up but for some reason i have to turn the whole axis till its at lock point before it will turn and then it just spins all over the place.

Anyone know how i can change settings so the turn is gradual and controlable?

If you have a 360 pad, it works well with that.

Have you looked at the options for controls? Might be adjustmensts possible in there.

Don't have a 360 unfortunately. Looked in the options and there is nothing that i can see

Go to control panel > game controllers.

Open the properties for the wheel and turn the wheel. Does the axis move smoothly there?

Might be worth investing in a 360 pad. Lot of windows games support it now.

Yeah works perfect in that, still same prob in game tho

Check in the game config it's set to analog - it might think it's a digital pad - so full lock or nothing

Can't see any option for analog or anything else. My wheel has a button on it and it's set to analog.

all updated btw? i had issues with wheel + vista on grid a while back but one of the patches made things good.
