Grid, crashes before menu, or <1 fps on menu.

I installed grid, first it went less than 1 fps when loading menu (i had similar probs with Dirt)

It works when i launch grid in safe mode and in administrator i think. when i change the settings to highest, it restarts the game but not as admin.

For DiRT which uses the same engine. i just ran as administrator, but this is having a few more problems, would disabling UAC help?

Its something else, both run fine on my machine without needing to do anything.

Download the update that is in the codemaster forums, youll no doubt be running vista like i was, sorted it out no streight away, that or download the patch as i dont know if the fix was in the patch aswell.

Yes im runnning vista x64, but i cant find the update, got version 1.1 patch but i cant find the update,
please may you post a URL?
