grid crashing in w7?

i got grid today and it seems to keep crashing, i'm using w7, it only really crashing when i'm altering my car, changing colour/sponsors etc. is anyone else running it in windows 7 having any problems? or should i just update my gfx drivers?

EDIT: the game is patched up to 1.2, is that the latest yeah?

before posting here you should try new graphics and sound drivers

I'm running the steam version of GRID on W7 X64 (Build 7201).
Haven't experienced any of the problems you mention, so it might be down to drivers, as bledd said.

Here will let you download the latest drivers from Nvidia directly.

edit: And yeah, 1.2 seems to be the latest version.

i updated the drivers, same thing happened when i went to change my car's colour

GRID crashes occasionally for me in Windows 7, with latest drivers. No issues before I moved over from XP.

Grid has never crashed for me windows 7 64bit. Played it loads.
