I am trying to get the best out of my computer with regards to graphics settings and am a little confused on the settings.

They have 4x 8x and such, but could someone explain the difference between them and what do you think my computer could handle.

Thanks

what he means is that in the anti aliasing option, there are loads of different options, more so than I can remember like 2xMSAA, 4xMSAA then u have CSAA or or whatever...

tbh I dont know either, mine is at 4xMSAA as that gets a me a good enough frame rate with everything else maxed out

Yeah that is what i meant. I am at work so i couldnt remember the options.

I have 4xmsaa on as well. Just wondering what the other ones did?

they are just different types of aa. they do things differently. genereally though if your happy with what you have now theres not much point looking at others.

From what I heard, it depends on your graphics card. I have 2X and 4X msaa and also Level 1 2 and 3. I'm not certain exactly what the levels are, but I have a Radeon and they could be adaptive aa. The msaa is best for visual fidelity, but adaptive has better performance at comparable msaa. I have mine set to level 2 and I do notice jaggies sometimes but thats only in the menus.
