GRID Issue

Basically GRID won't remember certain settings.

If I set every option to ultra (that can be set to ultra) and restart, they go back to high.

Is there any fix for this? I'm running Vista X64.
 
Even though its a Buggy POS and they break more than they fix with each patch my settings have remained the same throughout all patches other than I lost 1920x1440 from 1.1 onwards. :(

Also Vista64 Ult.
 
I can set 4 Options to "ULTRA".

Cheers for the Launcher, got me my RES back but not sure I only need it to run on 1 Core, no stuttering in Menus since patches.

That program doesn't seem great tbh. It doesn't define settings by "low/med/high/ultra" it uses figures, which I haven't encountered.
 
I know what causes that .............. patching the game but using the older no-cd .exe :eek:

No, using a old NO-CD will simply Unpatch the game as 99% of games Patch the .EXE (Farcry is 1 exception).

My game (1.2) is now not stuttering in Menus without the Launcher. ;)

I will live without the Launcher and use 1600x1200 for now.

patching grid but using an older no-cd (cant remember which versions) causes the exact problem as described in the OP

either that or some bad no-cd files exist

I thought you meant me :o and again, putting in an OLD NO-CD means the Game is Unpatched (back to whatever version the NO-CD is). ;)

The game is so Buggy many peeps had to use a NO-CD to fix it lol. :p
