GRID: Multiplayer PS3

Anyone got the private multiplayer to work yet? I can set up a game but my mate cant see it, or any others for that matter.. Same happens if he hosts it and i do a search for private games just come straight up with no private games found... But if i do a quick game it works. :confused:

Any help?
 
Codemaster messed up big time on the ps3 multiplayer by not having friend invites :mad: that is why i got it for 360 instead .
 
Hold on. You can make a private game but there is no way a friend can join it?

That's some epic fail by Codemasters
 
Or a massive cockup by Sony for not making friend invites a requirment in PS3 MP games in general(like it is on the 360) :(

Anyone know it this is being fixed or are we stuck like GT5 , ie, can play the demolition online random crew but not our friends??

But friends invites on the 360 are standard. MS built the friends invite and joining a game into the system, while on the PS3 the devs have to build their own systems.
