The other day whilst playing GRID sounds kept cutting out and artifacting. Eventually the sound went completely - although I could still here my music being played through winamp with no issues.
When I quit the game there was a massive pop (seriously loud) and I lost all sound.
I rebooted and all was well. GRID does seem ok with the latest Creative drivers, however I'm not sure if the problems stemmed from those or if there's a more sinister problem lurking elsewhere.
