wow, i know i'm late on the bus, but this is really good fun, just wondering if anyone plays it online form here?

also is there a follow up to this or one before? was it Dirt???

not ever played racing games since GP2 but loving this and £9.99 online at the mo makes a wicked deal

i play online, prefer collisions off, im balb0wa on there, lot of cheaters about now though.

New patch due out 1.3 for pc, should stop folk editing the ebay file.

I play it well attempt to, i get bored of playing and end up crashing and dieing a lot.

Though kinda got bored of it lately and havent really played it for a week or so.

Grid is my favourite and best driving/racing sim game that i have had to date. It is a good simulation but always feels fun and not frustrating like a few sims out there.

Dirt was similar to grid, and is also good, but grid just takes it to a whole new level.

i thought it was rather average :( looked great but handled like a wet bag of spuds.

burnout paradise on the other hand is awesome. :D

I find grid to be about fun rather than simulation, crashes can be very entertaining. i use rfactor for my serious stuff so grid is brilliant to just muck around on and have a laugh, graphics are very nice too which helps.

.

 Sim ? What the **** :p

When I got this game on 360 (Cheers Wossi) I played it straight through to completion over 5 days so you could say I Really liked it but Sim, Don't make me laugh :p
It is about as close to a Sim as I am to getting a test drive of Spies new motor.
A Sim :p:p:p

they tried to put it in the middle of arcade and a sim. well either way i enjoy it. however i have now hired a new team mate who's better than me :( - we seem to get a lot of one two's with him always number 1 :(

"hey dude i'm like in first place man"

i wish they had more 1v1 chase race ones abit like the canyon races on NFS Carbon. forgot what they were called, you race the computer over a 1.30min + track, then do the same reverse, who ever finishes with the least time wins.

They were my fav races in the skyline :)

Its pretty good, the crashing gets really repetative after a while though (especially when your trying out the F3 style cars and trying to cut corners as fine as possible).

Its got a really really good simulation of (the now old) dodington park (like lemans 24 did) and theres a few other really good track simulations on it (Istanbul and Spa come to mind).

I found that the drifting sections and american race tracks wern't too fun after a little while but the european races and the lemans 24 hour to be a lot of fun (plus i managed to set up my ps2 pad to work well on it like in gt4).

GP2 is still awesome though :)

Yeah Grid is a fun game for what it is. I got to the second garage and a nice selection of cars, then i lost the lot after windows took a poo on me! It works very well with the G25 wheel but since loosing everything, i just can't CBA to play it all through again.
