Hi there,

I ordered a Griffin Reflect Case on Friday last week and it finally came this morning :D

Looks to be quite sturdy, the touch fits VERY snugly inside so theres no chance it can move about much. Im very impressed with it so far, looks really nice. Only annoyance with it is the screen cover (described below).

Here's a picture for those of you who are interested :):

(It's compared in size to the 2nd Gen 8GB Nano)

I have had a go at trying to stick the screen cover on but failed miserably and now it has dust on it which sticks to it horribly and i cant remove it, does anyone have experience of trying to get one of these onto a touch? And could someone tell me how to get the dust off it again?:p

Thanks very much, Thiras. :)

That is nice. I couldn't find one for the iPhone when i was looking. Got the iClear instead, but it scratched very quickly. The Reflect doesn't look like it will scratch as badly.

I'll get one eventually :)

I got the same case a few weeks ago, managed to got my protector on almost perfectly, there are no dust or bubbles.

I dont understand why you would want these? I don't like the colour, and the classic and nano covers make video watching impossible because they make the screen very dark and cause more reflection.

Just bought one literally 20 minutes ago (I blame raymond lin for tempting me)

Why buy one? Easy answer, protection. Mine is carried around uni adn is out of my pocket whilst on busy trains, walking and many other things, and if I drop it and smash a £10 case im not bothered, but drop it and kill a £300 mp3 player, ill cry.

Im still slightly unsure about the looks of them, but out of all the ones ive seen, the griffin is by far the nicest, and it seems to be frosted on the back, which hides how badly buggered the chrome on the back of my player is.

Yeah we sell them at work, its not so much frosted i dont think but a kinda grey plastic, its really nice but the whole front bit puts me off, I know why you buy a case, just no why you buy that one. tbh.

Fair enough :)

My previous players had proper leather cases bought for them, but to be honest I found them more of an annoyance, as they had flap fronts which made doing anything with the player more complicated and in the end stopped using them. Going to give this a go, and if I cant get used to it, ive only lost a tenner.

I don't watch video on the Classic anyway since the screen is tiny, I wouldn't dream of watching a movie on the nano.....I'd go blind ! So turning up the brightness a little to compensate is nothing as the screen goes off after a bit anyway. So as a protection for a mp3 player its perfect, it's tight and feels solid in the hand, protects all the corners and I can still use the dock with it on.

I got myself a Clear case for my new Nano (3rd Gen), the clear case is so much better quality than most I can see off the high streets - a note tho, if you've got second skin on your player (the Nano 3rd Gen at least), the case wouldn't fit because of the "extra millimeter" thickness... so be warned.

yes yes and yes. The clear and reflect are the same, just one's clear and one's... reflective. I've got a clear one for my Classic, great case, but the reflect ones ming hard.

I didn't go for the clear because dust eventually do get under the case and this hides it. I am anal that way, if i can see it, i want rid of it.

Thanks :)

I had it when I had my iPod Touch, brilliant stuff to protect the back (chrome bit) but it's a female dog to put it on properly - make sure you hands are really really wet.

Also got it for my Nano 3rd Gen, works a charm. I mainly got it to protect the back chrome bit, didn't use the front as all as I dont really like the feeling of "touching / multitouching" something rather rubbery. IMO, useful for the back, the front is already well protected on both the Touch and iPhone.
