So you either like Sacha Baron Cohen or you hate him. I've liked everything he has done, so that might put a little bias on what I say.
It is silly, funny. There are some absolutely brilliant sequences - I shall not spoil, but an elephant sequence has got to be one of the funniest, grossest, silly scenes I've ever seen - looking away and laughing hard and....just brilliant.
Certainly worth a watch.

It's not his best film but it's certainly funny.

Though I think I need to see it again later when I'm not surrounded by mardy Grimbarians with sticks up their rectums determined to hate it.

I've been a pretty big fan of Sacha ever since Da Ali G Show was on Channel 4 back in 2000. I've watched everything he's made over the years and went to see Grimsby earlier.

It's certainly no masterpiece as far as movies go in general, but it's a very decent film for what it's intended to be, which is a crude, silly film which you can just switch your brain off to and have a laugh. I can see why people wouldn't like it but if you like his other work then you shouldn't be too disappointed with this. I think I liked it better than The Dictator, Bruno and the Ali G movie. It was actually better than the trailers made it out to be in my opinion.

The elephant scene was pretty epic  I'm surprised he got away with that one! Also liked the part where he blocks the toilet :D

I went to the 10pm screening which I guess is quite late for a weeknight, but there were only me, my girlfriend and 6 others in the cinema. Hope he doesn't have a flop on his hands!

Overall I'd give it a solid 7/10. You'll either like it or absolutely hate it :D

I saw it last night at 8:30 and there were no more than 20 people in the cinema which is disappointing.

Thought it was absolutely hilarious though, a number of times I was borderline crying. Everyone in the cinema was in stitches at times which shows it wasn't just my ****** up sense of humour :D GF enjoyed it too

I have no inclination of watching this movie, however having seen part of the Graham Norton show where they showed only the audiences reaction to the elephant scene, and everyone talking about it, I just read the IMDB parental guide. Wtf

Just reading that under the spoiler tags at IMDB and I'm ****ing myself laughing again. The way someone has described that whole scene - perfectly written.

I can't wait, tbh. Borat left me somewhat lukewarm, but this is much nearer to home and is infused with the memories of a recent thread tangentially related to the film's themes. :p

Saw it earlier today but wouldn't really recommend it TBH. It's all a bit childish and stuck in a 90's "lets all laugh a the chavs" mentality IMO,

I think Sacha Baron Cohen is at his best when he's doing improv/pranks playing a character on the unsuspecting public. I enjoyed Borat but this reminded me more of the inferior Ali G movie.

Saw it yesterday, anyone else notices loads of stuff from the trailer wasn't in the final film?

Off the top of my head these 4 - Wedgie, Give me a kiss not on the lips i'm not from london, my lips are sealed, go help your brother nobbie?

It's like there were loads of 11th hour cuts to get the runtime down even more than the pathetic 80 minutes it already was.

Great film though, that Elephant scene had me crying.
