So the area grit depot happens to be in the village my mrs lives in. I'm taking her home from work and a grit lorry goes past and smashes me with stones which annoys me greatly.

I have a cup of tea and dinner, about an hour later I'm on the way home and the same grit lorry is returning to the depot and dispenses its lovely grit on me again! It's already done this rooooaaaaddddaaAAHAHHHHHHH

It did seem a bit slippy in an light coating of frost sort of way on the way home, perhaps its just going to be a cold night.

What I don't get is they put the grit out when its a bit frosty, nothing too hard to negotiate, but when it does actually snow for days and permafrost forms on the roads making them undrivable they are nowhere to be seen.
