The glass fell out of our cooker a few weeks ago. It’s a sealed unit so it was obvious a new door would be needed. Anyway, we are part of British Gas Star cover +, which not only covers us for gas appliances but electric too.
[RANT]
An engineer was supposed to come out on the following Tuesday morning but he didn’t show. A new appointment was rearranged for the following Friday in the morning. He turns up late afternoon to tell us that our oven door is busted and we need a new one.
So he orders a new door whilst on site and books another appointment for the following Friday in the morning (i.e. this morning) to fit it.. but hey, guess what? He hasn’t arrived.
So rang them to ask what’s going on. It turns out that the part is on backorder, and the engineer was cancelled but we weren’t told..
I’ am livid!! Grrr
