Grooming by the state

I was reading post and Iam slowing becoming convinced the state is grooming the children of this country towards LGBT+.
Why are you convinced of that? And what do you believe the states aim is?
As a final question, what’s your opinion of LGBT+ folk?

I feel it is being shoved down our throats, I am getting sick of it being advertised everywhere in the UK. I should be able to walk down the streets without being part of any groups. Ths must be on the border of grooming the young.

I sense this thread will go a bit wong.

Probably, I am eager to participate ;)

I don't blame the state as such, but elements of society seem to have an agenda to ratify deviancy in as many young people's minds as they can get away with. To dissent from this is portrayed as a cardinal sin, whereas the converse is actually true for many. They have a fight on their hands, especially as the same folk seem to embrace multiculturalism.

Although strangely enough the biggest deviants seem to be the right wingers currently in the government. ;)

Interesting topic.

We've been blessed with Christian influence in this country for decades and now it seems the foundations of that influence are crumbling. This would have caused an uproar 20 years ago.

I do agree that children just don't need to be bothered with this stuff they are not ready to be burdened with this level of complexity they want to have fun, please their parents and teachers and get along with their classmates thats more than enough for them to cope with.

Its not just this its everything. We are all just ants in a nest basically - only ever being exploited towards some other purpose. No matter what it is. There is no freedom of any kind.

100 years ago the purpose of people was just to work and produce basic goods - food, materials etc.

Now the purpose of people is just to acquire debt and consume. LGBT+ is just another tool in the toolbox to draw in a bunch more people into the machine.

"advertised"
Two for one on gays!

A threesome...that's even more shocking!

Wait...if there's a two for one sale on homosexuals but not on heterosexuals, is that discriminatory?

Being a bit more serious for the moment, I don't care if the message is genuine diversity, i.e. "all these things exist and are equally OK". But the word "diversity" nowadays has been quite thoroughly corrupted into meaning "these things are better and more important than those things, which aren't worthy of consideration".

This is what I find very disturbing. it should be self discovery not forced or intimidated discovery and at a later age.

lol, where do you live.

I live between London and Ipswich and never feel like LGBT stuff is "shoved down my throat" as you put it.

Are you sure your just not looking for things to annoy you lol?

What do you mean by Deviancy? Gay people? LGBT issues?

I am not convinced that sexuality, be it straight, gay or bi, is even in the same bracket as gender issues.
I think education regarding the existence of a spectrum of sexuality is quite important, so no child, as they develop is left feeling like they are a freak.

As for gender based issues, I think a massive amount of further research is required, to understand if it is a physical thing in as many cases as are now being generated, or if there is a mental illness and seeking acceptance aspect to this.
Of the very limited amount of trans people I know, and of the families I know, everyone in the family would state that Xxxxx always knew they were a girl. Born a boy, transitioned in 20s, but any family member, even extended would have the same view.

I am not convinced this is the case for all. In the same way as identifying as x or y.
With sexuality people tend to be something, not feel a certain way on a certain morning.

I feel vast amounts of research are required before we start teaching in depth on gender issues. The information on sexuality has been there since ancient Greece.

It will be interesting to see where the research goes that Sajid Javid recently approved that will allow researchers access to the medical records of some 9000+ people who have had gender reassignment surgery, to try and figure out if its beneficial or not for younger people. Considering there have been reports recently of people regretting it almost immediately after having bits chopped off.

Me personally think invasive surgery should absolutely not be an option until someone is mature enough, I think 21+. For some that might mean a few uncomfortable years, but it could potentially prevent a lifetime of regret.
