Grotbags actress Carol Lee Scott dies aged 74

Aye, it seemed like so long ago, and her makeup at the time made her look ancient then, was no doubt only in her thirties, but such is the power of a child's eye perception.
 
There are probably four ladies who I have fond memories of in kids' TV.

1) Floella Benjamin (PlaySchool but now a Lady in the House of Peers)
2) Janet Ellis (Blue Peter who has famous daughter Sophie)
3) Elizabeth Estensen (T-Bag but now in Emmerdale)
4) Carol Lee Scott (Grotbags)

I don't think Carol ever did anything but play Grotbags. RIP.
 
RIP Grotbags :(

I remember her from the Windmill, she was obviously younger than she appeared on TV.

ic1mnale, I was surprised to learn she was a singer (I think it was).
 
I've just been looking at some clips on YouTube. The banter between Grotbags and Croc still brings tears of laughter to my eyes, especially when she hits him with her golden hand stick thing.
