Hey people,

just wondering which setting within group policy effects the security policy and which effects the privacy policy...

This is in reference to Internet Explorer...

If anyone can help...I would like to set privacy and security settings for all users using gp and im not finding it to easy :p

What exactly are you trying to set with your GP?

EDIT: Most of the things you are looking for would be in User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer

The new McAfee Total protection is installed and managed via internet explorer...for installation requirements it requires security/privacy settings to medium..

I would really like to know if this can be done via group policy rather than manually doing it :(

Thats it really :)

That should be really straight forward (although I was wrong about location of the policy settings :D)

If you go to User Configuration > Windows Settings > Internet Explorer Maintenance > Security > Security Zones and Content Ratings

Change the first Radio Box to be "Import the current Security Zones and Privacy Settings", then click on "Modify Settings", you get the usual Internet Explorer Security Options, which you can set as a template :)
